POLICE have confirmed that there were no casualties in a road accident in Wick’s Macrae Street earlier today.

Emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed for a period but only minor injuries were sustained.

An ambulance was called out at 10.39 am followed by police with local firefighters later attending to clean up the road which was re-opened an hour later.
