Budding whale watchers can find out more about spotting cetaceans at an event in Thurso library on Wednesday.

People can learn about how and where to go whale and dolphin watching along the north coast, including what equipment is needed.

There will also be a chance to learn about different species and even have a go at a cetacean skull quiz.

The event takes place from 2pm to 3.30pm. All children must be accompanied. Booking at https://booking.highlifehighland.com is essential.
