Caithness Vintage Tractor and Machinery Club's annual ploughing match takes place on Saturday.

The venue is West Greenland Farm, Castletown, by permission of the Mackay family.

Twenty-one ploughmen have entered across drag, mounted and classic classes.

Judges are Alan Simpson, Cairnside, Watten, and Jim Baillie, Sebay, Orkney.

Ploughmen need to be on the field at 10.30am for the draw for lots. Ploughing starts at 11am, with a finishing time of 3pm.

A charity auction, with Ian Macleay as auctioneer, will begin at around 3.45pm at the steading. A full list of items will be posted on the club's Facebook page before Saturday.

The presentation of prizes will take place after the auction at the steading.
