Weekend of disturbances in Wick

Police were kept busy in Wick over the weekend with incidents reported in Kennedy Terrace and Glamis Road with a 27-year-old man being arrested.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.30am on Saturday, 26 February, police were called to a property on Kennedy Terrace, Wick, following a report of a disturbance. Officers attended however no criminality was established.

“Around 9pm on Sunday, 27 February, officers were called to Glamis Road, Wick, following reports of a disturbance. A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. The man is due to appear at Wick Sheriff Court."
