Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a one-vehicle crash which took place in Castletown last week.

The incident took place on the A836 at the junction with Harbour Road, around 4.50pm on Friday, 10 December. It involved a black BMW 4 series.

As a result of the incident, four men were conveyed to Caithness General Hospital, whilst a fifth was airlifted to Raigmore Hospital for treatment. None of their injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

Constable Kenneth Macleod, from the Dingwall Road Policing Unit, said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and are appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the crash, or believes they saw the BMW involved, to please come forward.

“If you have any information or potential dashcam footage, please contact us on 101, quoting reference number 2350 of 10 December.”
