Unexplained death in Thurso is 'not suspicious'





Police Scotland has issued an update on the "unexplained" death of a 36-year-old man in Thurso on Friday (October 29).

Officers had been called to an address in Queen's Terrace on Friday at 3.55pm and then began door-to-door enquiries after the man's body was discovered. The death was treated as "unexplained" and the man's next of kin were informed.

In a statement released this afternoon, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Following a post mortem, the death of the 36-year-old man at an address in Queen's Terrace, Thurso, on Friday, 29 October, 2021 is not being treated as suspicious. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
