Two-vehicle police car smash near Thurso

Police vehicles with specialist officers on the way to an incident crashed into one another on the outskirts of Thurso last night but no serious injuries were reported.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.10pm on Sunday, 29 January, 2023, a road crash occurred on the A9 near to Thurso involving two Volvo marked police cars. The officers within the vehicles did not require hospital treatment and the vehicles were recovered."
