Two-vehicle crash at Watten

Police were in attendance at a two-vehicle accident which occurred earlier today (Monday) at the crossroads in Watten.

A police spokesperson said: "At about 12.25pm we were called in relation to a two-vehicle road crash. The female passenger from the car was taken to Caithness General Hospital. Nobody else was reported injured.

"A 50-year-old man had been issued with a fixed penalty notice for a road traffic offence and the roads were reopened."
