‘Truly spectacular display’ in new flower tent at 100th Latheron Show
The flower marquee at the 100th Latheron Show hosted “a truly spectacular display”, with a record number of entries.
The best in show award went to Moira Smythe with her hydrangea.
Gladys Gunn was the flower tent convener this year and she said it had been an “absolutely amazing” show.
Alison Carter, one of a small team helping Mrs Gunn, said: “We had a new tent, twice the size we normally have, with record entries, giving a truly spectacular display – the best I have seen, thanks to the support of the community.
“We also had a show pony display to mark the 100th show by Graeme Smythe and family which attracted a lot of attention.”
