Tribute paid to Reid's of Caithness founder

THE Caithness businessman who started an award-winning bakery firm has died at the age of 75.
Donnie Reid, a master baker, launched Reid’s of Caithness in 1966 after building his first shop in Castletown.
The business expanded and is now a well-known brand whose products sell all over the world.
Mr Reid died just a few days after the firm won the Scottish Baker of the Year 2017 award in Glasgow at the weekend.
