A shortage of train crew is causing disruption to train services between Caithness and Inverness.

This morning’s 8.20 am service from Wick to Inverness has been cancelled because of the staffing issue along with the 2pm return service from Inverness to Wick.

ScotRail has a ticketing agreement with Stagecoach North allowing ticket holders to use the bus service between Inverness and Caithness until 6.30 pm this evening.
