Train service terminated after staff member becomes ill

A TRAIN service from Wick to Inverness has had to be terminated at Georgemas Junction after a member of staff became ill.

The 12.34 train, which was due in the Highland capital at 17.06, had to return to Wick. Replacement transport could not be secured. A train was due to leave Wick at 4pm.

No further details are available at present.
