Town market event being held in Thurso

A THURSO town market is being held on Saturday (May 20). The event, which is organised by the Thurso Community Development Trust, will also include the Greenhouse Open Day and the Mini Mackay Dance School.

Stephanie Remers, the trust's development manager, said: "Our markets are held in the hope that we can encourage some footfall through our high street and get the Thurso community out and about."

The market will take place at the Thurso Tennis Courts from 11am to 3pm. Others are planned for later in the year.
