A TOURIST has been accused of causing the death of a Wick High School teacher by dangerous driving.
Frenchman Marc Combe (60) appeared at Wick Sheriff Court charged with causing the crash on the A9 at Weydale.
Mr Combe made no plea of declaration and was released on bail. He was committed for further examination.
Dr Kevin Costello died on Tuesday, August 16. He was a passenger in a red Peugeot which was involved in a collision with a campervan.
The 47 year old was the principal teacher of science at Wick High School.
His funeral took place at St Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Thurso on Tuesday.
