Thurso's Buzz Lightyear brigade

THURSO locals stepped into a cartoon-land when they visited the town centre's Semichem store during the recent Fun Day.

With a theme based on the animation blockbuster film Toy Story, all the staff dressed as different characters and it was all for a good cause.

Store manager Shona Farquhar said: "As it was Fun Day we tried to promote our charity of the year – which this year was Chest, Heart and Stroke.

"We had a hamper to raffle and other things going on in store.

"Every year we try and do something different that all the staff can take part in and encourage the community to come in to see us."
