A Thurso woman is alleged to have attempted to pull her partner from his car during an incident in the town during the summer.

Julie Webster (42) denied threatening or abusive conduct and shouting at William Johnston.

The incident is said to have occurred in Grove Lane, Thurso, on June 13.

Webster, who was bailed to an address in Thurso, will fight her case at a trial on October 5.

The trial was continued at Wick Sheriff Court on Tuesday after an essential witness failed to turn up.

The prosecution and defence have lodged a joint minute of agreement on certain aspects of the evidence including input from the accused's GP.
