Thurso woman breached court order

A Thurso woman who breached a court order was given a chance to demonstrate she can behave. Mary Buchan (54) happened to meet Tessa Macleod in Beach Road and Beach Court, Thurso, where she shouted and swore at her on March 1, Wick Sheriff Court heard.

Buchan, of Angus Court, Thurso, was subject to a non-harassment order banning her from having any contact with Ms Macleod.

Sheriff Mark Lindsay deferred sentence on the accused, who was said to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the offence, for six months.
