Thurso Rotary Club held a primary schools’ quiz event on Tuesday evening in the town's West Church.

Teams from seven local primary schools – Miller Academy, Halkirk, Mount Pleasant, Castletown, Pennyland, Crossroads and Reay – took part.

Paul Hagan from Thurso Rotary Club said: "In an exciting competition enjoyed by a large audience, the eventual winners had Castletown Primary School coming out tops with Pennyland running a close second."
