Members celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Thurso Monday Club at a dinner dance in the town's Royal British Legion clubrooms on Saturday evening.

They were welcomed by long-serving chairman Hugh Millar. He recalled some of the past events and activities that helped make the club a success and the support given by a dedicated committee for the cause of learning disabled.

Having started in Thurso Youth Club, the club moved to the town's Masonic hall and Stepping Stones. The rugby club is now the base for its year-round activities.
