A Thurso runner has raised £1000 for a cancer support group in the north Highlands.

Stephen Cowie ran this year’s Edinburgh Marathon for the North Highland Cancer Information and Support Centre (NHCISC) in Thurso.

A spokeswoman for NHCISC said: “We wish to thank Stephen very much for the donation of this impressive sum – all of us at the NHCISC are extremely grateful for the support.”
