Thurso man fined by Wick court over texts sent to partner

A man who sent abusive text messages to his girlfriend was fined £300 by a sheriff who described the behaviour as "entirely unacceptable".

First offender Dorian Kasperczyk (20) pleaded guilty at Wick Sheriff Court.

Sheriff Neil Wilson was told that the couple had only known each other for a short time and had experienced some difficulty or disagreement.

The accused, of Macpherson Walk, Thurso, was "unhappy" about something his girlfriend had said or done when he sent the messages on September 13 last year fiscal David Barclay said.
