Thurso man charged with attempted murder

A man from Thurso has been charged with attempted murder.
John Andrew Smith (42) appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court on July 1.
He was also charged with assault to injury and the danger of life.
Smith made no plea and was released on bail until a further hearing.
