Seven Thurso High School pupils have received certificates after successfully completing their Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

All seven gained the bronze award by participating in a wide range of activities including horse-riding, swimming, a rock challenge, ballet and netball along with volunteering at an animal farm, youth club and gymnastics.

Pupils also undertook an arduous expedition in the summer of 2019 which saw them experience the scourge of the midge, adding an extra challenge to their trek.
