Thurso driver fined for no insurance

A Thurso man who drove without insurance was fined £750 at Wick Sheriff Court this week.

Self-employed Kyle Slinger also incurred six penalty points.

Slinger, of Church Street, Thurso, admitted the offence which occurred on September 22, last year, on the A9 near Thurso.

He told the court he had been offered the use of a car to make a short trip.
