Thurso driver admits using uninsured car

A Thurso driver was fined £200 after he admitted using his car when it wasn't insured.

Benjamin Salisbury (29) also incurred six penalty points at Wick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.

The accused told police that the vehicle had been covered, previously, but the policy had been cancelled in October.

The offence occurred on November 11, last year, in Castlegreen Road, Thurso, where Salisbury lives.
