Thurso care home residents pay a visit to Paddington Bear

Residents at Pentland View Care Home enjoyed a trip to John O’Groats to see the new Paddington Bear bench.

The bench forms part of the Paddington Bear Trail - a set of 20 sculptures between Lands End and John O’ Groats - which was unveiled earlier this month.

The ladies posed for photos as they also met fellow visitors, chatting and sharing what Paddington meant to all of them.

Residents also enjoyed the chance for refreshments, taking in the views and reminiscing about previous trips to the area.

Pentland View provides residential care, nursing care and dementia care for 47 residents from respite care to long term stays.
