Thurso care home enjoys pantomime visit

Residents and staff from Pentland View Care Home in Thurso enjoyed a treat recently with a visit to the pantomime - oh yes they did!

Touring company Theatre Presto performed “Oor Boabie: Brooned Aff Abroad” with residents’ relatives also invited to enjoy the timeless tale full of magical twists, fun, laughter and adventure.

One resident said afterwards: “ It was such fun! I loved singing along to all of the songs!”

The care home’s activities coordinator, Jeanine Sinclair, said: “Residents, staff and guests all had a great time travelling the world with Bobby and singing along as we went.

“We always try to maintain a full schedule of activities and events on our Life Enrichment calendar, and musical events are always very popular!”

Pentland View care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers.

It provides residential care, nursing care and dementia care for 47 beds, and residents from respite care to long term stays.
