Thurso among cheapest seaside towns to buy a house
THURSO has been named as one of the cheapest seaside towns to buy a house in the UK.
The Halifax's Seaside Town Review has ranked the Caithness town as the tenth cheapest seaside location out of 196 coastal towns across Great Britain.
It reports the average price to buy a house in Thurso is £99,660.
Wick has featured on the top 10 list in the past but is not included in this year's figures.
The most expensive seaside town in the UK is Sandbanks in Dorset where the average house costs £664,655.
