Thurso actor Adam Robertson to become a ‘River City’ star

A THURSO actor has landed a role in the Scottish soap opera River City.

Adam Robertson (37) is set to become a Scottish soap star next month when he appears on screen playing the part of Dr Dan Hunter.

In his first scenes, which will be broadcast on Tuesday, October 4, Robertson’s character goes into partnership with Dr Michael Goldie at Shieldinch Health Clinic. Dr Hunter is a recovering alcoholic with his history playing a big part in his storyline.

In real life, the former Thurso High pupil is married to wife Anna and has two children. He runs a café in South Wales, but has moved to Glasgow after landing the part in River City.

No stranger to the small screen, television credits to his name include Taggart, Casualty, Wire in the Blood and Harry and the Wrinklies.
