Terrorist attack drill taking place at Vulcan site near Reay

People in part of west Caithness are being warned not to be unduly alarmed by a lot of police activity and the sound of gunfire and alarms today (Thursday).

Royal Navy chiefs have given notice that a full-scale security drill is taking place at the Vulcan site, near Reay.

The exercise, which will deploy blank ammo, will test the site's response to an attack from terrorists.
