Temporary road closure in Thurso

Motorists are being advised by the Highland Council of a temporary road closure in Thurso which is necessary to "carry out road repairs".
Janet Street will be closed from its junction with Lovers Lane and extending to its termination, a distance of 291 metres or thereby.
Closure will be in place on Wednesday, January 20 from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
No alternative routes are available.
Pedestrian and emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
Exemptions – vehicles employed to carry out the works and associated traffic management.
The road closure is necessary to allow KIER to carry out iron work repairs.
