Teen in Wick court on assault charge

A Caithness teenager has been charged with an assault.
The 17-year-old made a brief appearance in private at Wick Sheriff Court on Tuesday and was granted bail by Sheriff Mark Lindsay, pending further inquiry.
The offence is alleged to have taken place in Wick, on May 9.
The accused can't be named as they are under the age of 18.
