Suspended Wick police officer faces court charge at Inverness

A 29-year-old police officer has appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court on a charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Trevor McConnachie, who is based in Wick and is currently suspended, made no plea to the allegation, was committed for further examination and released on bail by Sheriff David Sutherland.
