Sudden death in Castletown

A WOMAN in her fifties died in Castletown on Wednesday afternoon. A Police Scotland spokesman in Inverness confirmed the sudden death. A report was made to the police about 2.30pm, he said.

“The death is being treated as unexplained at this time but there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances. A report is being submitted to the procurator fiscal as is the case in sudden deaths,” added the spokesman.
