Storm Dudley set to bring strong winds to Caithness and Highlands

A yellow weather warning for strong winds has been issued for Wednesday and Thursday this week.
It covers all of Caithness, the Highlands, Orkney and the Western Isles as well as much of northern England.
The Met Office says that Storm Dudley will bring period of very strong winds which could cause some disruption later on Wednesday and during much of Thursday.
The warning is in place from 3pm on Wednesday until 6pm on Thursday.
It warns that transport services may be affected with longer journey times and cancellations possible, as well as some bridges and roads being closed.
Other potential dangers include fallen trees, tiles coming off roofs, flying debris and large waves. Power cuts are also possible.
