Staxigoe Seals led the way in a competition for young swimmers held as part of Saturday's fun day at the North Baths in Wick.

Teams consisting of members of Wick Amateur Swimming Club took part in the challenge in the open-air pool which has been brought back into use by local volunteers.

Ackergill Orcas were the runners-up, with North Baths Dolphins in third place.

Wick amateur swimming stalwart Joan Manson presented a trophy to the winning team and medals to all the individual competitors.

In 2019, Joan received a High Life Highland lifetime achievement award for coaching and volunteering in recognition of her 40 years of coaching Wick swimmers.
