Stagecoach employees in Caithness have discounted access to all High Life Highland (HLH) leisure facilities, thanks to the charity’s most recent corporate deal with Stagecoach Highlands.

Emma Thomson, HLH’s highlife development officer, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have another high-profile Highland business signed up to our corporate membership deal.

“HLH is excited to be partnering with Stagecoach to support the health and wellbeing of the travel operator’s staff and their families by giving them access to the many leisure facilities, and hundreds of activities taking place every week across the Highlands.”

Speaking on behalf of Stagecoach North Scotland, David Simpson, engineering director, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer such a fantastic benefit for our team in the Highlands.

“The wellbeing of our staff is of the utmost importance, which is why we employ an amazing group of people and are constantly looking at ways to support their wellbeing and reward them for their hard work.

“The highlife membership is ideal, as during a cost-of-living crisis no one should have to give up the things that help their wellbeing and keep them active and healthy.

“With there being so many facilities over the whole of the Highlands, we are able to offer all of our staff from Aviemore to Orkney, and as far as Skye, the chance to sign up.”

Emma concluded: “Stagecoach is the most recent in a growing number of Highland businesses I am working with to set up discounted access for their staff.

“Staff health and wellbeing is becoming one of the highest priorities for responsible employers and I’d be more than happy to have discussions about how HLH can support businesses to, in turn, support their staff.”
