Spooky walk at Wick community woodland

Newtonhill Community Woodland outside Wick will be the venue for a spooky walk this weekend in the run-up to Halloween.

The self-guided trail has been created by the Friends of Newtonhill Woodland. Suitable footwear should be worn and care must be taken when walking through the trees.

The event, on Saturday evening, is not suitable for dogs.

Coffee, tea and hot chocolate will be available from the croft cottage on the site. Home-made cupcakes will also be served.

The event will run from 6pm to 9pm when the lights will be on.

It is free but donations would be welcome.
