If you go down to the woods at Forse of Nature you're in for a big surprise – ghostly apparitions set up among the trees are proving a big hit for the younger visitors.

This year's Halloween trail, which opened on October 4, has been very busy with local children keen to get back in the spirit of things.

Ellie Sheales, events and marking manager for the local hospitality venue, said: “Our annual Halloween trail has been very well received again this year, seeing hundreds of children enjoying themselves running through the woods searching for spooks.

"As well as being a welcome boost to us, it has also given us the opportunity to share the beautiful woodland with local children, encouraging them to spend time outdoors in all weathers. The trail will run until the end of October and we are delighted to welcome a few more folk before we’re done."

Eille pointed out that they were getting quite busy in the café, so they are asking people to please book a table either by calling 01593 741754, or emailing info@forseofnature.com or via the Facebook page.
