Spittal SWI competitions and winners





Anne Gunn, president of Spittal SWI welcomed members to the February meeting at which competition results were announced.

After business was attended to, she then handed over to one of the members, Wendy Newton who demonstrated her creative talents with alcohol ink. Ms Newton brought along samples of things she had made and then every member had the chance to have a go, and make a picture, card or coaster using the alcohol ink.

The tea hostess was Jessie Allan and raffle winner was Elizabeth Holman.

Competitions were judged by Jessie Allan with results as follows: Four Treacle Girdle Scones – 1. Linda Levack; 2. Liz Hewitson; 3. Sarah Holman

Favourite Bracelet – 1. Linda Levack; 2. Sarah Holman; 3. Elizabeth Holman; 4. Wendy Newton
