A concert in Bower Community Centre was very well attended and raised £715 for the hall renovation fund.

The compere, Councillor Willie Mackay, kept the audience amused with his stories between the acts.

They included the Jill Kingdon tap dancers; musicians from the Wick High School music department, accompanied by their teacher Russ Murray; Tanya Horne’s Highland dancers and musicians from the Caithness Feis Folk Group.

Comedian Rob Glysen was also there to entertain, along with Wick High School cheerleaders, the Poltney Handbell Ringers, the Bower Singers and many more.
