Skye man accused of stealing swords from house in Wick





A young man from Skye has been accused of breaking into an unoccupied house in Wick and stealing swords and candlesticks.

Jordan McPhee (22) pleaded not guilty at the town's sheriff court on Monday.

The break-in is alleged to have taken place on July 30, 2019, at the house in Breadalbane Terrace, owned by former Wick solicitor Taco Nolf.

McPhee, of Castle Crescent, Dunvegan, is due to stand trial on January 25.
