THE same type of Silver Cross pram used by Prince George when he was younger has found its way into a Wick charity shop.

The pram, which is thought to be worth around £1500, is being sold by Blythswood in a silent auction to raise money for the charity.

Staff at the shop in High Street are promoting the fundraiser through a window display in the style of Princess Charlotte’s recent christening as part of Wick Gala.

A model dressed as the Duchess of Cambridge and one of Prince George dressed in what would be his Wick “summer” clothes – a rain coat and welly boots – can be seen along with old newspaper clippings from the days surrounding the royal christening as well as a model depicting freelance reporter Noel Donaldson.

Offers for the pram should start from £350 and the last bid will be taken at 4pm on Saturday, August 1 – the closing day of the gala.
