Shortest day of the year in Caithness





SUNDAY is the shortest day of the year as West Caithness will only see six hours and 18 minutes of daylight on the Winter solstice.

In Thurso, sunrise was at 9:03am with sunset taking place at 3:21pm.

Meanwhile in the east, Wick enjoyed three minutes extra of daylight as sunrise took place at 9am with sunset taking place at 3:21pm.
