Shebster man threw brick at car

Scott Ross threw a brick at a car but the owner volunteered to make good the damage.

Jamie Sutherland obtained the various parts and carried out the repair costing £662, Wick Sheriff Court was told last week.

Ross (26), of Achreregan, Shebster, admitted having caused the damage in Sir George's Street, Thurso, on July 31, last year.

A plea of not guilty to a further charge that he assaulted Mr Sutherland by pushing him and attempting to strike him with a brick was accepted by Fiscal David Barclay.
