Sex offender remanded for alleged breach of order

A SEX offender that allegedly gave the wrong address to police was remanded in custody at Wick Sheriff Court on Friday.

Andrew Bremner (29), of Millers Lane, Thurso, appeared from custody on Friday at the court and denied breaking the conditions of the Sexual Offences Act by not giving his correct address to police on October 27.

A trial was set for December 14 and Bremner was remanded.

He is to appeal the bail decision to the High Court of the Justiciary.
