A woman who shouted and swore at children playing in a Wick street was made subject to a structured deferred sentence for three months at the town's sheriff court on Wednesday.

Cheryl Fleming (51) admitted threatening or abusive behaviour in Murchison Street, Wick, where she lives, on February 25.

The charge originally included an allegation that she lifted her top and exposed her bra but that was deleted from the charge in a plea-bargaining amendment by Fiscal David Barclay.
