More than £600 has been raised at a Wick church’s Christmas event. St Fergus Church in High Street held a coffee afternoon on Saturday with a great selection of home baking and a chance to have a blether.

Santa joined in the fun including sing-along carols which were enjoyed by those attending.

A spokesman said: “The fantastic amount of £600 was raised for church funds, and the church organisers would like to thank everyone who has contributed and supported the church fundraising events.”
