Santa and Mrs Claus add to festive cheer at Bower

With the festive season fast approaching, the man with the big white beard and rosy red cheeks is already making his way around Caithness and on Sunday he and Mrs Claus dropped in to the grotto at the Bower Parent Forum Christmas Fayre in the village hall.

Among the first children to arrive were sister and brother Zoe and James Mackay, from Killimster, who had lots of requests on their wish lists for Christmas morning.

Santa has already appeared in Halkirk and Thurso and this Saturday (November 30), along with Mrs Claus, will be at Wick's Market Square for the Christmas lights fun day.
