The JRSO (Junior Road Safety Officers) committee organised and led Bower Primary School’s Brilliant Bright Day to help the children learn the importance of wearing bright clothes in the winter.

They made a PowerPoint presentation, read books and held competitions.

The event was rounded off with a zebra crossing fashion show to show all the ways of being bright and being seen.

Primary 5-7 teachers Anne Duffy and Claire Henderson said: "We were proud of the hard work the group put in to organise such an enjoyable and educational morning. The children always give 100 per cent.”
